Manet was established in Czechoslovakia to manufacture lightweight motorcycles of 90cc capacity. These were very similar in design to the prewar DKW RT100 (which wasn't actually 100cc as its name suggests). Manet ceased motorcycle production in 1951 and began manufacturing scooters. The most famous vehicle was the Manet Tatran, powered by a 125cc motor. They also built a 50cc scooter, the Pioner which was sold under the Jawa brand-name.
