Classic Cars and Coffee 27 December 2020

Sunday 27 December 2020 - Classic Cars and Coffee

Last one of the year. Business School Carpark, Hackett Drive, UWA https://www.classiccarsandcoffee.com/

1988 Classic Tiffany. A custom exotic built in the 1980s for celebrities and those wishing to 'make a statement.'

I took the DKW along. It hasn't been out for some time, in fact not since I had the fuel pump and carburetor replaced. It had been getting harder and harder to start for quite a while, which I had put down to lack of use. It turned out that the vacuum fuel pump was barely functioning. I had a new pump membrane put in. After a little tuning and cleaning of the carburetor the performance has returned. I am thinking of installing an electric fuel pump however.
